This listing is for a
brand new
replacement DIGITAL CDI module for all 1987 & 1988 Yamaha BW350 motorcycles. This digitally controlled module replace the original Yamaha part number of 2JN-85540-M0-00, and they are built here in the US. These modules work with all BW350 models and plug right into the factory harness connections with factory color wires and original style connectors. However, please be aware that this part does not mount like original and will require being zip tied to the frame. Due to the way that everything is secured and molded into the case, they are far more durable than the original module and about 0 less than the factory module.
NOTES:
-Does not mount like original and will require being zip tied to the frame
-The blue wire with yellow stripe on the CDI connects to the blue wire with a white stripe on the harness
-Brown wire on factory wiring harness is NOT used. This lead must be taped off or capped.
If you need to replace the CDI on your BW350, don't take a chance on a used CDI when you can get a brand new one for the same money or less!
