Trumbull 300 amp 250 volt Copper Knife Switch (May Work?)

No idea how old this is. I've got it listed as "For Parts/Not Working" only because I have no idea what condition this is in. It very well could work as intended but there's no way for me to know. Not sure what material the base is made of. It has some obvious damage to the back but I don't think that would affect however this would be used.
