Publix gift card & booklet for Publix’s 90th anniversary, no value, collectible onlyGeorge Jenkins opened the first Publix Food Store in Winter Haven, Florida, on September 6, 1930. Thus, Publix celebrated its 90th anniversary in September 2020. In commemoration of the event, Publix gave each employee a Publix gift card with a value. The gift card was placed inside a special gift card holder. It has the words “Happy Anniversary, Publix!” on the front, with the words “Publix 90 years” at the bottom. The inside of the gift card holder shows a picture of George Jenkins, who was known simply as “Mr. George.”
The inside reads “Great place to work!” and “Thank you for making Publix a great place to work and carrying on Mr. George’s legacy!”
Please note that the gift card in this item has already been used, and it has NO VALUE. It is sold as a collectible item only.
This item is a nice and rare collectible for people who collect Publix memorabilia.
Condition
Used condition but good. This card has been used, so it may have the normal swiping marks that appear after a gift card has been swiped at the payment terminal.
