    Description

A striking Silver 8 Reales 1822 of Augustin Iturbide. Desirable slate gray toning and crisply struck for the grade. Iturbide ruled as Emperor of Mexico, 1822-1823. Mexico City mint, assayer, "JM". Earlier slimmer portrait type. Quite elusive these days and highly sought after. A bit of patination on the reverse of little consequence. Cataloged as KM-304. We will begin at .00. There is no reserve.
