This is a direct replacement OEM bolt on.
90% of R-Tronic pressure build failures can be attributed to electric motor or Accumulator wear/malfunction.
Both Electric motor and accumulator should be considered regular wear items and replaced periodically to maintain optimum system functionality.
Replacement of electric relay is highly recommended anytime there is a motor failure. Not doing so could cause erratic switching on/off times of pump and cause further damage to new components.
