This 2002 Yamaha U1 upright piano was purchased used from a dealer in Dayton, OH in 2015. Since then, it has been tuned and serviced by a technician each year. The current owner only plays it for a few months out of the year, so it has retained its excellent condition both inside and out. Many of the U1's currently on the market were produced in the 1980's; this 2002 unit is still relatively new for a piano, meaning that your purchase has a higher chance of retaining value should you decide to upgrade someday.
This piano has a fine sound and makes for a perfect practice instrument for beginner students as well as more advanced pianists with limited space for an instrument. Need to practice at night without disturbing anyone? No problem; the middle pedal controls a strip of cloth that significantly dampens the sound of the strings, giving you better control of your volume. The U1 also looks fantastic with a polished ebony finish that still shines like new, making it a great addition to any room. The original bench, cleaning mitt, keyboard cover, and owner's manual are all included.
